When Wellbots first partnered with WeAdU in 2014, they were looking to optimize their Google Ads campaigns for maximum return on ad spend (ROAS). Their initial budget was modest at $4,000/month, generating a $14,000 conversion value. WeAdU developed a tailored Google Ads strategy that focused on maximizing Wellbots' ROAS while carefully managing brand performance. Here’s how the strategy evolved:

  1. Starting from Scratch with Feed-only PMax Campaigns
    WeAdU began by launching a Feed-only Performance Max (PMax) campaign that included all brands in Wellbots’ product lineup. This approach, without any additional creative assets, allowed Google’s AI to utilize product feed data to dynamically create ads optimized for visibility and sales, ensuring each brand had optimal exposure.
  2. Data-Driven Performance Monitoring
    Once substantial data was gathered, WeAdU analyzed the performance of different brands, focusing on those that were excelling and those that were underperforming. By tracking brand performance and ensuring each brand received around 500 clicks, WeAdU could make informed decisions about which brands were driving profitability and which required further attention.
  3. Progressive Optimization with Brand-Specific Campaigns
    Underperforming brands were pulled out of the main Feed-only PMax campaign to create dedicated Standard Shopping campaigns. This strategic move enabled WeAdU to unleash the potential of top-performing brands within the Feed-only PMax while providing focused, tailored ad strategies for brands that needed improvement. Three distinct shopping campaigns were created for each underperforming brand: high, medium, and low priority, allowing more refined performance control and effective budget allocation.
  4. Maximizing ROI Across Brands
    By separating and focusing on each brand individually, WeAdU ensured that the top-performing brands continued to drive high sales within the Feed-only PMax. Meanwhile, underperforming brands received dedicated strategies to optimize their ad performance or address underlying sales issues, leading to better overall ROI and brand visibility.
