What is Shopping campaign priority?
WeAdU · Updated 4 October 2026
Shopping campaign priority is Low, Medium or High on a standard Shopping campaign. The help read on 4 October 2026 reserves it for the same product in several Shopping campaigns in the same country.
What does this setting choose?
The starting value is Low. You can set it to Medium or High. It chooses the bid for that product. It is not a custom label, not a feed label, and not break-even ROAS. The priority help, read on 4 October 2026, covers standard Shopping campaigns. Performance Max does not have this setting.
Use it when the bid for a product should come from one campaign.

Which bid is used?
Three rules come from the same help.
The budget is spread across the day. A high priority can stay out of an auction before the budget runs out. A lower priority, with no budget to hold back, can then bid.
| Case | Rule |
|---|---|
| Higher priority | Its bid is used, even if another bid is higher. |
| Its budget is exhausted | The next priority bids. |
| Same priority | The highest bid is used. |
Where do the other help pages diverge?
The creation help, read the same day, changes this setting only for the same targeting or the same feed label, and it names the budget. The troubleshooting help, read the same day, describes overlapping targeting differently: the highest bid likely wins, and if the bids are equal the highest priority wins. That is not the rule in the table. This entry does not decide between them.
What does it leave out?
The catalogue and the custom labels are already covered in the Performance Max structure article linked below. This entry does not repeat them. The Shopping guide in the repository is not online.
What does the WeAdU audit cover?
On the homepage, read on 4 October 2026: "The free audit covers Google Ads only." No Google Ads account figure here.
